Eminem is regarded as one of the iconic names in the Hip-Hop genre. However, before this he had his share of crap too. Eminem succumbed to drug abuse during the shooting of 8 Mile in 2002. (The movie is awesome!) He used to be on set for 16 hours every day and suffered insomnia. However, he emerged victorious in a conventional style. With an attitude reloaded, Eminem made a huge contribution in making hip-hop mainstream as one of the biggest selling genres. I personally love “Cleanin’ Out My Closet”, from his 3rd album, The Eminem Show.

Well, well, well when it comes to Hip-Hop how you can forget the Big Poppa of Hip-Hop? Christopher George Latore Wallace, better known by his stage names The Notorious B.I.G, Biggie or Biggie Smalls, was an American rapper. Biggie is known for his charismatic disposition and his lyrics regarded as “most fly”. His murder during a shooting in 1997 was traumatizing and felt as the end of hip-hop. However, 18 years after his death, Biggie is still the king of New York.
